The Chequers Inn

The Chequers Inn is situated in the charming village of Burbage in Leicestershire.

As a village pub we pride ourselves on doing things well, whether it be pulling a lovingly-kept pint of Craft beer, great selection of lagers, Gins and a beautiful range of wines to suit all tastes, serving the perfect speciality coffees or creating delicious seasonally changing pub food, sourced used the very best produce and serving it with care and flair.

At The Chequers we like to offer something a little different whilst still maintaining a cosy traditional pub atmosphere.

You can always be sure of a warm welcome as you treat yourself to fresh, home-cooked food, premium drinks and the friendly conversation of our staff that makes everyone feel like a local.

Here at The Chequers, we have built a reputation for serving consistently great, innovative pub food. A major part of this, is the energy that our chefs put into the sourcing high quality produce and ingredients. Our meats are sourced from no further afield than Warwickshire, our award winning butchers Frank Parker’s. Our seafood is delivered fresh daily and sourced from MSC, certified sustainable seafood fisheries.

All of our menus are lovingly overseen by Jay our Head Chef, our chef’s Thom, Steve & James together with our kitchen brigade.

Our restaurant and pub features a large outdoor garden, with an outdoor bar and kitchen, with plenty of undercover seating and heated areas too. The perfect setting to enjoy hot summer days and evenings, but cosy enough to enjoy all year round.
